Nancy joins the Compass to Care team with training and experience in education and sales. Nancy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from DePaul University and her Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Bilingual Education from National Louis University.

After receiving her BA in 2003, Nancy taught Pre-k to 3rd grade in a school setting. At the end of the 2022 school year, she decided it was time for a change. Nancy received her license in Health & Life Insurance to be able to educate and assist active adults with Medicare. She decided to make this business part-time because she also wanted to spend more time with her own senior parents and her own two children.

Nancy joined the Compass to Care team this new year when she heard about our organization’s mission. She wanted to work somewhere where she can use her skills to make a difference. Her passion is teaching and providing service to others in need, especially those with limited English skills. The Program Specialist position is exactly what Nancy was looking for. She is able to provide assistance to families that are in great need of some relief.
