Every day, families facing childhood cancer encounter a barrier most of us rarely think about: simply getting to treatment.

Gas, flights, parking, rideshares, and overnight stays all cost money. When a family is already managing a cancer diagnosis, navigating treatment, missing work, and caring for a sick child, the distance between home and the hospital can feel impossible.

Compass to Care removes that barrier by providing gas cards, rideshares, flights, parking assistance, and lodging support so children with cancer can reach the treatment they need.

This September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we are asking you to help us Pass the Keys. Drive Hope.

How It Works

Step 1: Give $10

Make a $10 donation on this page. Your gift helps a child with cancer travel closer to treatment.

Step 2: Record Your Video

Record a short video while safely parked.

Begin your video by catching a set of keys from outside the frame.

Then say:

“I’m driving hope for kids with cancer and donating $10 to Compass to Care. I nominate [Name], [Name], and [Name]. I’m passing you the keys. You have 24 hours.”

End your video by tossing the keys out of the frame so the next person can “catch” them in their video.

Step 3: Post and Pass the Keys

Post your video on social media, tag the three people you nominated, and personally text them so they know the keys have been passed to them.
